In occasione dell’ottava edizione del Triennale Design Museum, che si terrà a Milano in concomitanza di Expo Milano 2015, sono stati scelti due elementi firmati Minacciolo: la cucina Mini Minà e la cappa Mammut.
Un riconoscimento prestigioso per l’azienda trevigiana, raggiunto non per caso ma attraverso un lavoro costante e scrupoloso che da più di quarant’anni contraddistingue la produzione di Minacciolo.
I complementi d’arredo andranno ad arricchire la selezione delle opere a cura di Germano Celant e messa in scena da Italo Rota, proposta per “Cucina & Ultracorpi”.
L’edizione del Museo s’ispira sin dal titolo al libro di fantascienza "L’invasione degli Ultracorpi" e all’omonimo film, che si sono imposti come opere di rottura e cambiamento nell’immaginario collettivo. Gli alieni da “invasori” divengono “cospiratori” capaci di confondersi e insinuarsi fra gli abitanti della terra con l’obiettivo di prendere il sopravvento.
Analogamente, “Cucina & Ultracorpi” vuole raccontare la lenta quanto inesorabile trasformazione degli utensili da cucina in macchine e automi. Un’armata “di invasori” che con l’avvento dell’industrializzazione è arrivata a sostituire molte pratiche del cucinare.
L’intento è di tracciare l’evoluzione in Italia di cucine ed elettrodomestici, dalle prime documentazioni fino al 2015.
L’edizione del Triennale Design Museum ( viale Alemagna 6, Milano) aprirà al pubblico a partire dal 9 aprile 2015 e resterà aperta fino al 21 febbraio 2016.

At the eighth edition of the Triennale Design Museum, which will take place in Milan to coincide with Expo Milano 2015, have been selected two products by Minacciolo: the Mini Minà kitchen and the Mammut extractor hood.
For the company, based in the province of Treviso, it is a prestigious acknowledgement achieved not by chance but thanks to constant painstaking work that has characterised Minacciolo products for forty years.
Furnishing accessories will enrich the artwork selection curated by the art historian Germano Celant and put on by the architect Italo Rota, proposed for “Kitchen & Invaders”. The eighth exhibition at the Museum is inspired by the title of a science-fiction novel The Body Snatchers and by a film of the same name; both considered works that brought about discontinuity and change in the collective imagination.
In the plot, the aliens transform from “invaders” into “conspirators”, who covertly mingle with and insinuate themselves among the inhabitants of the Earth, with the intention of gaining the upper hand. Similarly, “Kitchen & Invaders” tells of the gradual yet inexorable transformation of kitchen utensils into machines and robots. Since the advent of industrialisation, an army of “invaders” has arrived to replace many activities in the kitchen.
The aim of the exhibition is to retrace the evolution of kitchens and household appliances in Italy, from the first documented objects up to 2015.
The Triennale Design Museum edition (Viale Alemagra, 6 – Milano), will open to the public from 9 April 2015 and will stay open until 21 February 2016.
